Connecting with Indigenous Youth Across BC!

Our Workforce team has been on the move!

Denise had an incredible time at at Gathering Our Voices, Canada’s largest Indigenous youth empowerment gathering! She met with youth to discuss career opportunities, scholarships, and the exciting ForestryConnect quiz—helping them discover what forest animal they are.

At the Junior All-Native Basketball Tournament (JANT), Maïa kept the momentum going! She connected with youth passionate about education and career opportunities in forestry, signed them up for WorkforceConnect, and handed out awesome swag—including Skullcandy headphones!

From career chats to giveaways, it’s been a busy and rewarding week for the team.
